Widineo is a community-based organization located in Kilifi, Kenya. Our core mission is to uplift the living standards of the Kilifi community, especially widows, the elderly, the needy, orphans, and the disabled.
Widineo TeamWidineo stands for Widows, Needy, and Orphans. Our main goal is to fight poverty and eradicate illiteracy by empowering vulnerable groups through targeted programs. Kilifi is one of the poorest counties in Kenya, with the highest levels of illiteracy, as per Kenya Bureau of Statistics. Widineo addresses the neglect of widows, the targeting of the elderly, and the increasing school dropouts and early pregnancies among girls.
This movement was born out of the need to restore hope and provide a supportive platform for the less fortunate. Our mission is to nurture a self-reliant community through education, service, and holistic transformation—focusing on social impact rather than profit.
